What's Australia's most bingeworthy homegrown film or TV show?

The Great Australian Binge

We need your help to celebrate the nation’s most beloved local screen productions.

The Great Australian Binge gives the Australian public the chance to vote online for the Australian film or show they’ve loved watching in lockdown and sign a petition calling on Arts Minister Paul Fletcher to do more to support the people who make the entertainment Australia loves.

Actor Michala Banas says there’s never been a more important time to support Australian stories and storytellers: 'We need to remind the public and our politicians of the value of what we do, and of just how much it would be missed if it disappeared.

'Please take a minute to vote for your favourite screen content, and encourage your friends to do the same. It can be a gripping drama, an iconic comedy, a classic Australian movie, your favourite kids’ show, so-bad-it’s-good reality TV, or an awesome web series – you can vote for whatever has meant the most to you, especially during this time in lockdown. For me, I just bawled my eyes out as I devoured Stateless, and subsequently helped lift my spirits again with some of my favourite classic episodes of Kath and Kim.'
