The AWGIE Awards are open for entries!

The 57th Annual AWGIE Awards are officially open for entries! The AWGIE Awards recognise and reward the outstanding achievements of Australian performance writers and their contribution to Australia’s cultural landscape.
Entries are open to eligible screen, stage, interactive and audio works that finished principal photography or production or had a first performance between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023 (please check individual categories for specific eligibility criteria).
The 57th Annual AWGIE Awards open Wednesday 28 August and will close at 5pm (AEST) on Thursday 26 September 2024.

ENTRANT GUIDELINES
- Open to current financial AWG Full and Associate Members. Membership must be valid at the time of entry and for the duration of the competition.
- New members will need to join for a minimum of 12 months.
New members joining AWG with an annual associate or full membership will have their joining fee waived upon sign-up. To take advantage of this special offer, please contact [email protected] well in advance of the closing date.

Please note: There have been changes to the guidelines relating to the Audio, Community Theatre, Interactive & Gaming, Limited Series and Web Series categories. If your entry falls into one of these categories, please ensure you have read the Conditions of Entry to ensure you are entering the correct category.
