Scripted Ink. supporting Pathways Prime writers Ellie Beaumont and Judi McCrossin in MediaXchange Showrunner Week

22 February, 2018

Scripted Ink. and Pathways are thrilled to announce our support for highly respected screenwriters Ellie Beaumont and Judi McCrossin as they attend the next Showrunner: TV Drama Series Exchange in Los Angeles.

Global consultancy group MediaXChange has developed an immersive, five-day schedule of meetings and events with network executives and international producers to advance the skills of TV Drama Professionals. After receiving an overwhelming number of applications, the two available positions went to Pathways Prime Writers, Ellie Beaumont (House Husbands, Love Is a Four-Letter Word) and Judi McCrossin (The Surgeon, The Time of our Lives).

'I am so grateful to Scripted Ink. and Pathways for this amazing opportunity to make connections in the international market to pitch and fund my development slate and improve my showrunning skills,' said Ellie.

In 2017, Scripted Ink. in partnership with the AWG sent six other writers to Los Angeles to huge success. One attending writer, Shelley Birse, commented that 'MediaXchange curated tremendous value straight from the top shelf of the industry. Hearing exactly how things work from such generous sources delivered practical skills that will stay with me for the rest of my writing life.'

We wish Ellie and Judi all the best during their time in LA, alongside other key representatives from our industry.
