The Newcastle Writers Festival began in 2013 and shines the spotlight on local and national literary talent across all genres. This year, the event celebrates its fifth anniversary with its biggest program yet – 85 sessions featuring 140 writers.

Join playwrights and screenwriters from the Newcastle region as they discuss their writing practice and journeys on Friday April 7.

Please note: Both sessions are free and you do not need to book a ticket above. Seats are offered on a ‘first in, first served’ basis at the venue, no ticket required.
