“You want to get your movie made, write it as a novel first”

This is advice you’ve probably heard a thousand times and on the surface of it it’s not bad advice. The vast majority of feature films produced today are based on adaptations, sequels and remakes, but how does a writer take their movie from screenplay to novel and back again?

Join screenwriters/novelists Jeremy Stanford (Rapture) and Luke Preston (Out of Exile) for a tough love discussion on the challenges, struggles and absolutely no go zones of anti-adapting your movie.

With over twenty years experience in the industry Jeremy Stanford is the writer and director of the feature film The Sunset Six and the recently released novel Rapture.

Luke Preston is the writer of the high octane Tom Bishop Rampage series and the screenwriter of the upcoming feature film The Chain Breakers.
