It was while listening to his father's theatrical readings of Winnie the Pooh as a small boy in suburban Greensborough that Doug McLeod realised that he wanted to be a writer. Unlike most of us though, Doug didn't wait until he had grown up to get started.

The Australian Writers' Guild is pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Pullen as Executive Director. Claire will commence on Monday 25 October 2021 and takes over from AWG Group CEO Jacqueline Elaine, who resigned in July due to a health condition.
