Entries for the 57th Annual AWGIE Awards are now open!

The AWGIE Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of Australian screen, stage, interactive and audio writers, celebrating the very best produced scripts of the past year.

The Australian Writers' Guild is excited to announce the launch of the 57th Annual AWGIE Awards. These awards recognise the most outstanding scripts of 2023 and celebrate the community of screen and stage writers at the heart of the Australian industry.  

Entries are open to eligible screen, stage, interactive and audio works that finished principal photography or production or had a first performance between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023 (please check individual categories for specific eligibility criteria). 

Entries will close 12pm (AEST) Thursday 26 September 2024.
