David Mence wins International Playwright Residency Competition

The AWG congratulates David Mence, who has been selected as the winner of our International Playwright Residency Competition.
David will now spend six weeks at The Albee Foundation in Montauk, Long Island NY with mentoring from esteemed US playwright, Will Eno. While in the US he will also be meeting with Inscription master teachers and an industry reading of his script will be held at The Griffin Theatre Company on his return. This prize also includes all travel expenses. We would also like to congratulate the playwrights shortlisted for this competition, Kit Brookman, Zachary Gillam, Anna Held, Elise Hearst, Halcyon Macleod, Maxine Mellor, and Anna Lise Phillips.
