VIC: Meet your people mixer

What do you like to write? Horror? Comedy? Romcom? Drama? Crime? Or do you prefer your genres mixed, like your drinks? Action/romance? Comedy/horror? Fantasy/thriller? 

And what’s your medium? Feature film? Theatre? Live performance? Animation? Online? TV? 

At this fun mixer, you’ll get the opportunity to (literally) wear your writing preferences on your sleeve (or around your neck) and meet other writers of different experience levels who share your writing passions. 

Just grab a lanyard, scribble your favourite genres, shows, or formats on the card, and go looking for your people.

Date: Wednesday March 25, 2026

Time: 6.30pm onwards

Location: The private deck of the Peacock Hotel, 210 High Street, Northcote (an accessible venue!)

Transport: Northcote and Merri stations are a short walk away, and the 86 tram goes straight past.

Food and drinks: Full kitchen with great pub food and drink specials, so come early and have dinner with your fellow writers! 

Tickets: $5 members / $10 for non-members
