Please join us for an in-depth panel discussion with screenwriter Peter Duncan and director Kriv Stenders. Discover the techniques Peter adopted when adapting Peter Geste’s book, and the filmmaking techniques Kriv employed when shooting a Middle Eastern film right here in Sydney.

Kriv Stenders is one of Australia’s hardest working directors, with feature films including Red Dog, Kill Me Three Times, Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan, Australia Day and Slim and I. His documentary on Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen premiers at June’s Sydney Film Festival.
Leading Australian screenwriter Peter Duncan is best known as the creator and writer of the multi-award-winning series Rake. Rake’s star, Richard Roxburgh, is also the star of The Correspondent. Peter’s other credits include Operation Buffalo, Unfinished Sky, Hell has Harbour Views and Children of the Revolution.
