The 2024 Shane & Cathryn Brennan Prize Announcement
The Shane & Cathryn Brennan Prize for Playwriting is designed to discover and celebrate the best new scripts among Australian playwrights. Since entries closed in June, our judging panels have been busily reading a huge volume of entries and meeting to select winning and highly commended scripts.
Once again, this year we invited scripts from across two categories:
- Stage
- Theatre for Young Audiences.
This year, we have invited special guests Suzie Miller and Shane Brennan to announce the most outstanding entries across both categories at a live online event, free for all to attend. Please join us as we announce and celebrate the winning writers!
